Our Power Grids business was recently awarded runner-up in “Outstanding Achievements of a Multinational Company (MNC)” for its work in delivering innovative technology for the world’s first HVDC grid in China, supporting the State Grid Corporation of China (SGCC) on the ZhangBei multi-terminal project.

Our Transformers' insulation team in India are recognized for their outstanding performance by Bharat Heavy Electricals Limited (BHEL) - India’s largest power equipment manufacturer. BHEL presented the team with the award for meeting their requested short delivery times and for continually supplying high quality transformer insulation materials.

Power Grids' Transformers' team celebrated winning the 'Product of the Year' in the Electrical Review Excellence awards. Electrical Review is the leading electrical industry publication in the UK. The judging panel, was especially impressed by the capability of robot to make transformer inspection a much safer activity while also boosting asset availability for power grid operators.

The 'Factory of the Year' Awards are considered to be the most demanding benchmarking competition for the manufacturing industry in the German-speaking region. In 2018, Power Grids' Semiconductors factory in Lenzburg, Switzerland, won the award in the category 'Excellent Location Safeguarding by Digitalization'. The factory won the award for the development and implementation of its digitalization strategy.
