Hitachi Energy Xi’an Power Capacitor Co., Ltd. is Hitachi Energy’s only capacitor feeder factory and power quality center in China. We share nearly a hundred year of power quality technology and management experience from the Group, and adhere to Hitachi Energy’s development strategy of “in China, for China and the world", to constantly promote the localization of power quality products and technologies, to better serve the China market.

• Provided shunt capacitors and filter capacitors to ±400kV Qinghai-Tibet HVDC project to enhance power quality on the “rooftop of the world”
• Set up Power Quality Center to help customer improve power quality and power efficiency.

2011

• Capacitor Technical Center established in Xi’an
• Gained first HVDC project DC yard capacitor order, to supply DC filter capacitor and other DC yard capacitors to ±800kV Jinping - Sunan UHVDC project

2008

• Provided shunt capacitors to improve power quality for Shanghai Expo.
• Gained first 500kV series compensation project order to supply series capacitors for 500kV Hebei Chengde series compensation project.
• Moved to new site, located in Xi’an Economic & Technological Development Zone
