Swiss Trainee Program

The Trainee Program consists of three assignments of six months each, including an international assignment as part of your full-time employment. As a Trainee, you decide which business unit and functions you want to work within. During these assignments, you have an opportunity to develop your business network with the goal of finding your future workplace.  

During the program, you will participate in many different training sessions, professional networking activities, social events, and study visits. Throughout the program, you receive coaching and support from both the Graduate Trainee Manager and your assignment managers. 

At the end of this 18-month program, you will have a comprehensive foundation to find your full-time placement within one of our business units. Are you ready to accept the challenge?

Our six-months assignments usually consist of specific projects for which you take full responsibility and ownership. You are responsible for finding and applying for these assignments yourself, with the support of the company. This gives you the chance to put together your individual Trainee journey based on your interests and passions. We highly recommend that you apply for different areas of operation and roles. This is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to go out of your comfort zone and try roles that you might not have thought you would work with. This helps you to build a very strong and diverse professional network that will be invaluable during the rest of your career. 

The first assignment starts in your base country – in this case, Switzerland – at one of our several locations. For the second assignment, everyone is going abroad! You can actively influence if this journey takes you to Australia, Sweden, the US or any other country in which our company is based. During your last assignment, you will travel back to Switzerland again, which gives you the opportunity to find your final placement within our company.
