No. 4 Quality Education

We promote learning opportunities for all our employees, empowering top performing people to build business resilience and provide sustainable world class technologies for all. Through our corporate responsibility program, we contribute to the upgrade of education facilities and continue to support engineering scholarships globally.
No. 5 Gender Equality
We have identified diversity as one of our main business drivers and promote a culture of inclusion through different initiatives such as the ‘Unconscious Bias workshops’ and ‘flexible work practices’. We have set ambitious goals of establishing 25% of our employees and 40% of all University recruits as women in 2025 as well as increase the ratio of women in leadership positions. As a step in this direction we launched our PG Female Talent Development Program in 2019.
No. 7 Affordable and Clean Energy
As a global leader in power technologies, we are committed to development of modern, affordable and clean energy for improving quality of life of all people. We do this by providing power products, systems, software and service solutions with minimum environmental impact. Our pioneering solutions – such as our HVDC technology - facilitate the safe, reliable and efficient integration, transmission and distribution of renewable sources for our partners in the utility, industry, transport & infrastructure sectors.
Our aim is to increase energy efficient electrification and the share of renewable energy in the grid, in industries, transportation and infrastructure as well as in our own operations.

Our people are our most important asset and providing them with safe and secure workplaces - all the time and anywhere - remains our license to operate. Currently, 80% of our facilities are certified with an HSE management system and we aim to reach 100% by 2021. We protect their labor rights and are committed to fair and equal pay for supporting economic growth globally. We fulfill our responsibility to respect human rights along our value chain through due diligence mechanisms embedded in our business processes and specific programs such as Sustainable Supplier Development Program.
No. 9 Innovation and Infrastructure
We contribute to innovation with our pioneering technologies that enable a more reliable, sustainable and stronger grid and contribute to sustainable infrastructure solutions including upgradations and retrofits. We collaborate with our partners and stakeholders to increase resource-use efficiency, greater adoption of clean and environmentally conscious technology and support economic development, such as with microgrid solutions in island states and developing regions of the world.
