We are looking for a positive and business driven Technical Marketing Manager to join our Grid Automation business unit at Hitachi ABB Power Grids in Vaasa, Tampere or Helsinki. In this position, you will support and lead the growth of our sales. As part of our sales team you shall interact with our customers and colleagues. With full support from our highly dedicated and technically oriented organization, you will be creating and mediating the MicroSCADA X message that facilitates our customers resolve their challenges. You and your team will have the sales responsibility for products out of the well-established and well-known MicroSCADA X software product portfolio. You will enhance technical marketing, sales and business development activities and have responsibility for creating demand in defined markets.

Your responsibilities

  • Participate in customer negotiations as a technical expert: helping customers resolve their challenges with our outstanding software solutions.
  • Create segment-oriented marketing material for utilities, industries, renewables, infrastructure and transportation.
  • Write technical material to enhance our visibility towards customers.
  • Improve the ease of doing business with our external third-party channels by creating and continuously improving sales materials based on interaction with customers.
  • Participate in creating exhibition-setups and create fresh webinars.
  • Define and spread the message of MicroSCADA X via our webpage, and our partner portal.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensure that they are communicated and implemented within all activities.

Your background

  • B.Sc. or M.Sc. in Engineering or similar
  • Knowledge in automation of power transmission and distribution networks, prior MicroSCADA portfolio knowledge especially appreciated
  • Experience from activities within the technical sales field (B2B), preferably from automation of power and energy applications
  • Good written and spoken communication skills in English. Finnish, Swedish and other languages are considered as an advantage
  • Open minded and positive business approach
