Laminated blocks are superior to natural wood and cross-laminated wood, where enhanced dimensional stability, resistance against compression and superior electrical insulation properties are required.
The laminated pre-compressed board is basically high-density (HD) board glued together for thicknesses above 8 mm up to 200 mm. It exists in two versions, either with polyester glue (HDLP) or with casein glue (HDLC).
