ASECOND

Transformer core laminations are kept together by means of glue for the smaller transformers, for the larger transformers by means of steel straps around the limbs or an epoxy-cured bands. ASECOND is an electrical conductive impregnated glass-fibre band, which allows elimination of partial discharges in the transformer core and ensures extended life-time of the asset.

Asecond bands also enable to create a rigid core, and ensure high transportation safety.
