The LTA breaker uses the same technology of the well-proven Hitachi ABB Power Grids' SF6 Life Tank Breaker product range. This provides our customers with the highest reliability and the same product footprint while lowering the environmental impact.
The LTA is also available as a Disconnecting Circuit Breaker, where the disconnecting function is integrated into the breaker.
Eco-efficient Live Tank Breaker - LTA
LTA makes use of a CO2-based gas mixture as the insulating and arc extinguishing medium as an alternative to SF6.
